Laptop, Please!
Posted on July 10th, 2008 @ 4:41 am

My computer has been driving me crazy lately. It has been acting slow and recently it was exposed to some sort of virus. Thankfully the virus seems to be gone but right now it’s still acting slow. It’s taking forever for me to go through my browser tabs. It’s also taking forever for the sites to load. I’m used to a fast paced computer so using something that is going this slow is getting on my nerves. I can’t wait until I am able to afford a new laptop. I’d like to be able to replace my laptop every two years. That would be awesome!

Save Money, DIY!
Posted on July 10th, 2008 @ 4:32 am

People tend to do things themselves because it is cheaper then hiring an outside source because they not only charge you for the parts, they also charge you for installation, labor and service fees. That could very well add up to a pretty penny. If you are thinking about wiring your home for entertainment purposes then you may need to invest in some patch panels. They tend to be perfect for small office or home networks, and best of all you don’t have to pay anyone to come out and install it for you!

Brief Update
Posted on July 10th, 2008 @ 4:27 am

I’ve been pretty busy lately…and to think this is just the summer! Pretty soon I’ll be moving into my new place, working at a new job and going to a new school. It’s funny how fast things can change. I’m still trying to get adjusted to things being so new but I’m excited. This will give me the chance to experience new things, meet new people and just have fun. I have a few things that I need to do around here. There will be a couple of product reviews on the site pretty soon. I have to make the video and get those up. You may even see one tomorrow! The other one will be up in a few days from now. I have to wait until I return to my apartment to actually make the video. So yes, more videos on the way!

I’m also planning on launching another site in a week or so. Please come back and check back for the link and updates on that!

New Sports
Posted on July 10th, 2008 @ 4:15 am

Golf seems like a sport that I’d be interested in. I seem to be accident prone and contact sports aren’t the best for me. I always walk away with some injury. I’ve been looking at bowling balls because I want that to become a hobby. I’m also looking into Callaway irons as a possible golf club choice Bowling and golf seem like two things to keep me active without getting hurt.

Affordable Hotels
Posted on July 10th, 2008 @ 4:11 am

Some associates that are disbursed throughout the midwest decided to have a get together. Oddly enough the best location was in Detroit. Some people live in Ohio, others in Chicago so that seemed like the best place to have it since it was a last minute thing. That way they can drive and don’t have to make flight arrangements. I’ve been looking around for cheap hotels for them because who wants to spend all their money on a weekend get together? Finding the right place wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be.

Lifes Little Surprises
Posted on June 22nd, 2008 @ 9:29 am

It’s surprising who in your life can step up and when. I’ve been going through a great deal of stuff. I’ve been having some mediums, some lows and some under the ground moments. I’m glad that there have been different people popping in my life lately. Most of them are new so I don’t trust them enough to tell them the ins and outs of my life but it’s nice just to be able to talk to people…even if it’s just about simple stuff and get my mind in a right space. I’m trying to treat everything as a learning experience and this whole thing has taught me to make some new friends. I only have one real friend that I tell everything to. Sometimes it is nice to have people to talk to about things that don’t matter…or to have someone to go to the mall with, to a party with, etc. I don’t have any of that because I’m used to staying at home talking to/thinking about the love of my life. So now I have to find something to do with my time.

Have You Considered Lenders?
Posted on June 15th, 2008 @ 3:32 pm

When looking for a place to stay I considered getting a home. A home could be an affordable option if you are able to find a mortgage lenders. Also, when you have a home it feels more like yours because you don’t hear your neighbors entering and exiting the building. You can paint your place the way you like and do your own landscaping. All of that would make me want my own home. Owning something is truly a great feeling.

New Comfy Shoes
Posted on June 15th, 2008 @ 3:28 pm

My feet have been hurting lately. It all started when I went to the job fair the other day. I wanted to wear business shoes. I was on my feet for a long time and did a lot of walking. Now even my most comfortable shoes don’t feel as comfortable as they usually feel. While at the store yesterday I tried on some shoes and they felt like heaven. I think I’m going to buy some Ecco shoes soon. I found a few clog shoes that I really like. I love wearing shoes that you can just slip your feet into so this is right up my alley. Plus they have free shipping on orders over $59. I can’t wait until I have some extra cash available so I can order me some new comfy shoes!

Tough Times
Posted on June 15th, 2008 @ 3:19 pm

I need a job. I’ve been actively looking for a job since February, if not before then. I’ve been on a numerous amount of interviews and I still don’t have a job. I don’t know what else to do. I feel like I’m not qualified or something. It’s hard. I’ve had a job since I was 17 so it shows that I’m able to keep a job and it also shows that I’m a good worker. I’m also in college and pursuing a degree. It’s like don’t you see that I’m trying? Why are things so hard? I’m not applying for jobs that I’m not qualified for. Sometimes I feel like being in school hurts more than helps because entry level jobs don’t want me because I have experience and jobs that require experience don’t want me because I don’t have enough experience. I’m sitting here wondering what I should do and what my next move is going to be. Everything is standing still because I don’t have a job and without a job I can’t pay off school, I can’t get an apartment and I can’t get a loan. People don’t understand but this is hard but basically I can’t do anything without a job and I have been trying to get one. Things are really hard right now.
