I have my reviews for Idol. I have to post them. I’ve been a little busy with school this week so I’m behind on some things. Until I get around to that I just wanted to leave you with this:

My wonderful girlfriend and I had been dating for over a year, and so we decided to get married. There was only one little thing bothering me. It was her beautiful younger sister.
My prospective sister-in-law was twenty-two, wore very tight miniskirts, and generally was bra-less. One day ‘little’ sister called and asked me to come over to check the wedding invitations. She was alone when I arrived, and she whispered to me that she had feelings and desires for me that she couldn’t overcome.

She told me that she wanted to make love to me just once before I got married and committed my life to her sister.
Well, I was in total shock, and couldn’t say a word. She said, ‘I’m going upstairs to my bedroom, and if you want one last wild fling, just come up and get me.’ I was stunned and frozen in shock as I watched her go up the stairs. When she reached the top she pulled off her panties and threw them down the stairs at me.

I stood there for a moment, then turned and made a beeline straight to the front door. I opened the door, and ran straight towards my car. Lo and behold, my entire future family was standing outside, all clapping!

With tears in his eyes, my future father-in-law hugged me and said, ‘We are so happy that you have passed our little test… we couldn’t ask for a better man for our daughter. Welcome to the family!’

And the moral of this story is:

Always keep your condoms in your car.

I wish there was a fair way to rank sites outside of Google PageRank and Alexa. If you try to make money off of your site Google punishes you. Why? Yahoo needs to come out with something. I know Google and Yahoo are always flipping back and forth for the number one spot. Right now Yahoo’s PageRank and Alexa is higher than Google’s. I love Yahoo. I love Google too. I can honestly say that I use Yahoo Search more than Google’s because I think it’s more user friendly. I also like going to the front page and reading the stuff they have up there. Most of the time it’s interesting. I love Gmail and Google Reader. I love Yahoo Messenger and Flickr. Both companies have great things to offer. Yahoo has been around for a little while longer but it seems like people talk about Google more. As long as I’m able to get what I need from them they’re both cool in my book.

I just think it would be interesting if Yahoo came out with a PageRank system. I also think it would be fairer. Yahoo doesn’t have a big ad campaign and you don’t see them bringing in the money from bloggers and site owners. They might actually let us make money with our site and rank us at the same time.

I’m happy with all of my sites at the moment. I hardly ever feel that way. I have 4 sites and I’m not one to keep the themes and whatnot fresh but I’ve actually been doing it lately. I feel like my sites are doing well and instead of being awarded for that, I’m being punished. I also could use any extra earnings given my financial situation.

It’s been all over the news. There is talks of a $800 tax rebate for low and middle income citizens. The economy is at an all-time low because everyone seems to be poor. It’s a struggle finding a job and keeping a job. Without jobs we can’t afford to buy things, and if people don’t buy things stores go out of business. The government expects us to use the $800 to buy things. That’s their motivation for doing it–to help out the economy. I don’t know about you, but I hope this does get passed. They aren’t going to tell us what to use the money on and I surely know I could use it on a lot. I can use it to pay bills, to pay 2 months of rent, to pay off some of my credit cards. It hasn’t been approved yet but it’s in the works. Bush is for it. Congress is for it. Everyone is for it. I don’t see it not getting approved so hopefully we’ll see some checks in the mail…soon! But remember, in order to get this rebate check you MUST file your 2007 taxes. Each person will get up to $800 and each household will get no more than $1600. I already filed my taxes…did you?

If you guys don’t watch ANTM and aren’t up on pop culture then you probably don’t know what I’m talking about. If you are, then you should probably watch the video below. It’s basically snapshots of all the things Saleisha has done in the entertainment industry including being a model on the Tyra Banks Show, being a stand-in on Ugly Better and the Wendy commercial everyone talks about. It was nice actually seeing the things that are often talked about. I don’t think Top Model is a scam because she participated in the competition just like everyone else. Tyra gave this girl a chance because she believed in her and I think she deserved to win. People will always find a way to complain. I’m sure if you were in Saleisha’s position…trying to make it…and someone like Tyra gave you the opportunity you wouldn’t think “it’s wrong” or blah blah. So yeah, she put in the time so let her enjoy her crown.

It seems like it’s always snowing in Michigan. We had snow before Christmas and it conveniently all melted by Christmas eve. It snowed about 14 inches (probably more) on New Years Eve. I usually love snow. I hate it now. I think it’s because I have to drive in it. I’m used to walking in it but having to clean off your car and drive in it is a different story. It took me 30 minutes to clean off my car and my roommates boyfriend helped me. Something is definitely wrong with that picture. My car gets really foggy when it’s cold outside so it’s nearly impossible for me to see out of the windows. All of this is just a pain and I’m also risking my life because it’s dangerous out there…especially when you can’t see. Snow sucks!

I know I’m a little late with this but I wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year. It seems like with every year people want better things. They set goals or revolutions for themselves. I didn’t really set anything because I know that I’ve never stuck to anything. I’m just going to try to work on myself. There are things that I want to accomplish and I know if I focus on them I will be able to accomplish them. What I would like to do is pass all my classes next semester. I’m starting off small. There are other things, of course. But that seems realistic and it’s something that I need to do. I hope you all accomplish everything you set your mind to, and if you don’t it’s OK. There’s always next week, month, or year. You don’t have to only set goals the beginning of the year you can set them as you see fit.

Christmas is over. There is so much hype around that holiday and I just don’t get it. It’s hard trying not to get sucked up into it. People want things and it’s hard to give them what they want when you don’t have any money. But it’s not our birthday, it’s Jesus’. So this is where things get confusing. I tried to give everyone in my life something. I couldn’t afford much but I did the best that I could. Christmas isn’t about the gifts anyway. It’s about love and spending time with those you love. I’ve definitely been doing that. I’m about ready to go home now but that’s a whole nother story.

I can’t believe it’s already Christmas. I’m not in the Christmas spirit this year but that shows you that it doesn’t stop the holiday from showing up. I hope everyone enjoys this holiday and doesn’t get lost in the worldly meaning. We often forget that it’s about the birth of Jesus not about Santa Claus, toys, and gifts. It’s about love, giving, sharing, caring. Spend the holidays with someone you love and even if you don’t get what you’ve been dreaming about just be happy that you’re alive and with someone who loves you. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

…on this site. I really like this layout but it\’s been up for a long time. It feels like it\’s been a year since I put it up. That could be true, or false. I don\’t really know. I just know I want to get some kind of direction with this site. My other two sites I\’m content with. This one…not so much. Some things I\’ve been thinking about doing is adding recipes to this blog. I\’m not sure about that because I\’m lazy when it comes to uploading pics and sometimes my recipes aren\’t the greatest because I might miss a few steps here and there when describing it to others…

American Idol will be on in a month. I\’m sure that will give me a little focus, for a little while, at least.

So I was thinking I really need to catch up on my Netflix. I pay for that plan and I don’t even watch 3 movies a month. This is crazy. I used to work at a video store. I’m able to pop out movies like crazy. I guess I’ve been busy with other things. Before last month I was working full-time as well as going to school full-time. Now that my job has ended I’m just going to school so I would think that I would have more time to watch movies. I guess now. I’m going to watch some over Christmas break. After that I might put my plan on hold for 3 months since I’ll be in school and I probably wont have any time to watch movies anyway. Then I’ll start it back up in April so I can have movies all throughout the summer. I’m so behind! That’s one thing that I miss about my job. I don’t watch as many movies and I don’t know what’s out or anything. Hell, to be honest I don’t even need Netflix. I have a sick DVD collection. I’m pretty proud about it…
