My career path has definitely changed over the last year and it’s been for the better. I’ve never been as financially stable, with a partner who is also financially stable and can provide for me in more ways than one. I’m truly blessed. With drastic changes comes changes to what you are used to doing. For me, for example, I was never so into decorating homes and keeping up with a garden until I started living in a home and could start my own garden. Now all I think about is mulch, soil, plants, herbs and SimplyPlanters.com planters. It comes with the territory!

Outer Banks

I am going to be a home owner very soon. I’ve been trying to decide where I would like to purchase my new home. I know that I would love to stay in the DMV area but there are also some great Outer Banks homes in North Carolina. With today’s real estate market you can buy million dollar homes for less than they are worth. A close family member just purchased a home and it was a great feeling being part of the process. The walk through, the closing, the selection. I’ve never done that before but I knew what to look for and what questions to ask thanks to a great show that I love to watch. I can’t wait until it is time for me to buy my own home!

How often do you think about your suppliers? I feel like there are so many things we don’t think about and suppliers is definitely one for me. Do you think about who supplies the USB cords to charge your phone or did you know that they have medical carts at Howard-Medical.com. Initially I thought Howard Medical was a website for the medical school at Howard. I guess I was wrong. We learn something every day. I never thought about who supplied medical carts but I know the next time I see a medical cart when I’m in the hospital I’ll think of Howard Medical.

While looking at guitars I’ve been finding the different type of guitars interesting. Until recently I did not know Italia was a type of guitar. I like Italia guitars because they look like rock guitars. I know what type of music I want to play on a guitar and I think playing that type of music on an Italia guitar would be a total contradiction. I’m a walking contradiction, so I’m with it!

This has been crazy! If you came here and the site didn’t exist that’s because I lost my domain for quite some time. Everything has been worked out and I’m back! Quench Your Thirst

I’ve noticed that I drink more water when it is readily available. When I can go in the kitchen and pick up a bottle of water out of the fridge I am more likely to drink it than if I had to fill my cup up with water. It doesn’t make any sense and it just sounds lazy! I wonder if things would change if I had a water fountain in my house. If you see water running constantly you have the urge to drink water. Maybe if I installed a floor fountain or a wall fountain it would make me want to drink water more often.

I have been in so much pain over the weekend. I was trying to remove some mini twists from my hair and it took 3 days. Partly because I was having so much back pain. Whenever I tried to remove the twists my back would start hurting so bad that I could barely breathe. After laying on my stomach for a while the pain would cease. I began to wonder if laser spinal surgery would solve my problems. I’m not sure, but I would be interested in finding out.

It’s not even summer and I have already gotten quite the tan! I love my skin and my complexion, especially during the beginning of spring. I get a glow that you can only get with a perfect tan. It’s as if I was standing outside, in the right direction of the sun, for the right amount of time. It looks as if my skin was lightly coated with an airbrush machine. I understand why people use airbrush tanning these days. It’s safer than the UV rays and if it doesn’t look the way you want it to look you can go home and scrub it right off!
