Hey everyone! Guess what…I still have a site! I just remembered to pay my hosting bill. I need to change the email address because I never log into my other account so I don’t see the reminders. They gave me a 10 day period to pay so I was able to get the payment in before something bad happened! I’m glad about that…so I’m all paid up for another month. I’ve been late every month so far. Hopefully I’ll get it together soon.

It has been pretty hot and it’s not officially summer yet! I live up north so we get all four seasons and they usually stick around for a while. This year it hasn’t been like that. I feel like we’ve only had summer and winter. What happened to fall and spring…2 favorite seasons. I’m trying hold out on turning the air conditioner on as long as possible! Hopefully I don’t have to touch it at all this summer but it’s already starting off hot so I’ll probably be suffering by the time July rolls around. It’s been raining a lot too! I think that’s because it’s been so humid. Hopefully the summer isn’t too bad. One can hope, right?

I was just looking in the mirror and I noticed some reddish brown roots! I can’t tell you how excited I am! I dyed my hair jet black back in January and it’s still black. I had no idea it would last this long and I wasn’t willing to strip it so I’ve just been sitting and waiting…waiting and sitting. Now that I see some color in my hair I’m getting excited and I’m trying to figure out how I want to do my hair this summer. I think I’m really going to try to learn how to do tight curls. I want the natural curl look without going natural. I love that hairstyle on me but I haven’t figured out how to keep it up. Hopefully this summer I’ll learn! I can’t wait!!!

I am so tired! I feel like I’ve been doing a lot lately which is weird since I’m not in school and I’m not working. I have been a busy bee nonetheless. I’m just getting back in town today. Yesterday was different. Very different. I’ve never experienced anything like that before in my life and I’ll leave it at that. I feel like there’s so much that I need to do and I need to focus on that. I have so many sites just hanging out there. I have no idea what to do with them. I have a purpose for them all, I’m just too lazy to put a move on it. I need to start using my time wisely. I want to get all of this stuff done before school starts.

I’ve been out of school since April 18th. It’s been about 20 days. Time sure does fly. It doesn’t feel like it’s been that long. For the summer I plan on getting a job, saving up and moving. Hopefully I’m able to accomplish everything that I want to accomplish. It’s so hard to stay focused in the summer. I never have a summer that is totally free. I mean no work and no school. Just relaxing. Waking up and going to sleep when I please. Not leaving the house if I don’t want to. I’d like to experience that one day. It’s not going to happen anytime soon. I’d rather work now while I’m still young and rest when I’m older. Hopefully I’ll be able to!

I like to start over with new sites but at the same time I want to carry some of my old posts. When trying to get this site in order I decided to import all my old posts and now I’m not sure if that was such a great idea. It took a lot of effort to get everything imported and of course it didn’t import successfully so now I have to manually approve and backdate everything. I think I’m just going to delete all of the old posts. When I was reading most of them I just got sad going over things that happened in the past. How can you look forward to your future when you hold on to your past so tightly? You should never forget your past because if you do you’ll keep making the same mistakes over and over again but you shouldn’t dwell on your past either. So yeah, out with the old…in with the new.

I’m still on that dreaded apartment search. It can be fun and exciting as well as depressing and discouraging. You get your mind set on something and then all of a sudden your dreams come crashing down on you. That’s how I feel right now. I’m still trying to find something that I qualify for but the hardest part is not having a job. Hopefully things will turn around soon.

I’ve been thinking about trying to get fit for a while now. I know I will not instantly drop to a size 2 and that’s not what I want. I want to be in shape and have a healthy body. I have the type of body that can get very muscular with a lot of exercise so I’m going to try to do everything in moderation so I don’t end up looking like a body builder. I’ve been apartment hunting and I’ve been looking for a place that offers a fitness center so I don’t have to worry about paying for a gym membership and not going. My mom also has these appetite suppressant smoothies that taste really good! I’m thinking about buying the powder to make those. That allows you to skip one meal a day while still feeling full and getting all of your nutrients. The best time for me to drink it would probably be around breakfast since I’ll still be home to make it, but I never eat breakfast anyway so I don’t know if that will even matter.

For the past few weeks I’ve been craving cookies. Not any ole type of cookies but chocolate cookies. Not only that but homemade fresh out of the over chocolate chip cookies with a glass of cold milk. I haven’t had time to bake any cookies because I’ve been really busy with school and whatnot. Hopefully I’ll be able to do that in the coming month. We will see. In place of chocolate chip cookies I bought an apple pie and oreo cookies. As you can see I’m still craving chocolate chip cookies so now I’m starting to think that I should have bought some break-n-bake cookies or something.

A White Easter? Yep, you heard me right. We got a ton of snow for Easter…more than we got for Christmas for sure. We missed out on a Christmas storm because it showed up a week early. The weather around these parts is so unpredictable but I think everyone is used to what we deem “Michigan Weather”. What is Michigan weather exactly? It’s more than just getting snow. Michigan weather is simply this: If you don’t like the weather…wait 5 minutes. It could be a full on pouring down rain blast. 5 minutes later the sun will be shining and the birds will be chirping. It could be 50 degrees outside. 5 minutes later a terrible snow storm. That’s pretty much what happened on Friday. My sister had on a little jacket because it wasn’t cold outside. We were shopping for her Easter wear and all of a sudden…BAM! We had to clean off the cars after coming out of each and every store. The roads were so bad and it took us an eternity to get home.

Now on to Easter. If you don’t know Easter was today. I didn’t go to sleep last night so I went to the Sunrise Service. I’ve been going to the Sunrise Service longer than I can remember (pretty much all my life, I’m sure). I also go to Easter service. I’m not one of those people who show up to church once a year in their new clothes and that day just happens to be Easter. Nope, not I. I went to church at 6am, fellowshipped with some church members in the lower level (mainly the babies) and that was about it. I think the mamas like when I’m there because they can ditch their babies and I’m cool with it because they don’t cry with me. One of the girls that hung around me is learning two languages…Spanish and English. She was kinda hard headed so I was doing the Spanish and English thing. LOL. My sister was laughing at me. I would tell the girl to come here and she kept walking so I started speaking Spanish and she paid attention…for a bit. Then she kept saying NO! And of course I was saying Sí.

Somewhere between 6am and 9:30am I got sick so I didn’t go to regular service. I was also really tired since I didn’t sleep the night before. I woke up exactly an hour ago and the first thing I did was IM my baby. That’s the first thing I do on most days. LOL.

I know it seems like WOAH! She’s blogging over here! I’m trying to get rid of my other site so I don’t plan on doing any personal blogs over there. I also plan on opening up a new site soon! I’m trying to do some things with my flickr account but that’s mostly family and personal photos so I don’t think I’ll link that on my sites. I’m trying to come up with something better than flickr that I can host on my own site so I can avoid paying the $25/year since I already have to pay for hosting and whatnot. That’s $2 a month that I can put towards my own server! Speaking of my own server…I need to get a move on that. I wish I would’ve brought my hard drive this weekend.

I should eat and get ready to go back home. I don’t feel like driving all the way back to Ann Arbor and my cramps are coming back. GRRR! Hope you had a Happy Easter
