The Voices In My Head
Posted on April 13th, 2007 @ 12:40 am

Damn you, Blake! All night long I keep hearing “I Need To Know” playing in my head. It’s the most annoying thing ever. I don’t hear the entire song I just hear the bridge. Grrr! What am I gonna do to get this song out of my head? It would probably help if I was able to get some sleep, but my body wont let me sleep. I’m worrying to much. I wish life didn’t suck so hard.

I love Jordin but I think they could’ve done something better than this…

Moving on…

Last nights show was pretty iffy. I like it because I actually knew the songs but I’m sitting here thinking they could’ve done so much more. A lot of times it is hard to judge because we don’t know what they are given to work with. I know I would have busted out with some Christina Aguilera or something. I think song choice was the big thing of the night. Santana was pretty popular and the guys that covered him (Chris & Phil) got pretty good comments. Blake did really well singing Marc Anthony. I love Jordin and she did great…her song didn’t have any latina flavor. To me, at least. I liked Melinda. She sung sway, and it was simple. LaKisha was okay. Haley…was…I barely remember what she sung, but I know she had on those short shorts.

The best part about American Idol is Jennifer Lopez. She is so cool. She reminds me of a big sister. During the entire show I was waiting for them to show the J.Lo clips to see what was going to happen next. She’s so cool. I love her! Like really, I do. I feel like I know her for some reason. I know watching the clips made me think of the role she played in Selena. I really enjoyed J.Lo. I wish she could be the mentor every year. That would be great. She got up there and started doing little dance steps and helping the contestants with their moves and I’m like gone head, gurl! She was the best part of my day.

I hope Idol starts to get better because lately….man. I don’t know if I want to support this show anymore. Just kidding! Everyone tune in to Idol tonight and VOTE! We need to get Sanjaya and Haley off the show!

So…next week on American Idol Jennifer Lopez will be the guest star. Hopefully this will be a step in the right direction. American Idol is getting quite boring. I’m really missing Katharine and Paris right about now. Maybe Sanjaya will finally get booted? Probably not…but maybe Haley will finally go away.

I didn’t get a chance to watch American Idol tonight. You do not understand how disappointed I am. I’ll be searching for the rest of the week for the clips on youtube/dailymotion. I bought a TiVo because I never ever wanted to miss an episode of American Idol no matter how bad, but I missed one! Grrr! This season hasn’t been that great, and today was Tony Bennett day so it could’ve been worse. I could have missed J.Lo week. But I didn’t. I guess I’m going to have to start checking up on my TiVo. Nothing made by man is ever dependable.

Hopefully I’ll have some useful information tomorrow. Hopefully…

AI: Happenings…
Posted on March 31st, 2007 @ 3:19 pm

I wonder what’s going to happen on the next American Idol. It’s been a dull year so far. I hope it’s something exciting. I’ll know more when it comes closer to that date. They usually tell you who’s gonna be the guest star on Sunday/Monday. So yeah, we’ll see. It probably wont be J.Lo. I can’t see them doing 2 youngsters at the same time. That seems a little much. And by youngsters I mean people that I listen to. They’ll probably do someone old and boring. Blah…

Bad Day Part III
Posted on March 29th, 2007 @ 2:49 pm

So last night Chris Sligh was eliminated. I was kinda shocked because Haley and Sanjaya are still there. I wonder how long this Sanjaya thing is gonna last. I wonder if Idol is gonna pull one of those “we got the numbers wrong so please revote” things. Because that could be the only way to get rid of him. I don’t know. We will see.

Gwen performed last night. She was great. I don’t understand why Akon was there…AT ALL. I guess if I was a celeb and had the opportunity to be on the show I would take it, you know. Hmmm.

American Idol wasn’t that great today. I’m still waiting for this season to blow up…it just doesn’t seem like it’s going to happen. I think the problem is they have soooo many bad people on there. This is the Top 10 and I just don’t believe it. But anyway, on to the show…

Gwen Stefani was the guest mentor today. I’m not sure if anyone knows what the real theme was. It seems like it was songs from No Doubt/Gwen’s Favorite Songs/Songs from the 90s. AmericanIdol.Com says the theme was songs from the ’90s so we’re gonna go with that.

Best Performances: LaKisha, Melinda, Gina, Phil and Jordin.

LaKisha sung “Last Dance”. I love it when people perform that song. It starts off slow and then it picks up. I think she did a good job overall. She hasn’t had a bad week yet.

Melinda went for “Heaven Knows” and I think she did a great job. It was good seeing her do something uptempo as well. Go Melinda! Melinda is great, I hope she’s there for the finale.

Gina belted out “I’ll Stand By You” and she was great. None of the judges had anything bad to say about her. Gina seems cool. She might be around for a long time.

Moving on to Phil…he did a great job with “Every Breathe You Take”. If only he could be consistent. That’ll be his biggest thing. Some weeks he pick some songs that have me wondering why he’s still in the competition.

My Jordin sung “Hey Baby” and I thought she did a good job considering everything. That isn’t a song one would sing at a competition because it doesn’t really show off your vocal talent but she still pulled it off. It was nice seeing her have fun and I guess it was a breathe of fresh air to last weeks performance. Last week she was serious and amazing and this week she was more playful. I love Jordin ♥

Um…now the rest of them…

Sanjaya…Why is he still there? Is it something to do with his race? Are all the people who are against Idol voting for him? What? Please tell me because I want to know. At the end of the day this is the person who will be making records for the world to hear. I know everything that Idol does isn’t 100% fair, but everyone deserves a chance. What if Melinda loses to him? Think about that…

Haley sung “Tru Colors”. It was okay, I guess. It wasn’t that bad, but it’s something that I could be able to get on stage and do. It wasn’t breath taking. I’m confused as to why she’s still there as well.

I usually like Blake but today wasn’t my day for that. It was slow and boring. He should have done something better than that. I don’t know what, but something.

Chris Richardson may go home tomorrow since people seem to like Sanjaya and Haley.

Chris Sligh is simply forgettable. I remember his song being somewhat fast paced, and that’s about all.

This is American Idol 2006 - Top 10. It’s time to get serious people!

Well, tomorrow we will see who really gets the boot. Looking at the predictions Melinda, Chris Richardson, LaKisha and Sanjaya seem to be safe…

I’ll be back to post your results at 9:30p/8:30central. Or you can watch them live on FOX at 9pm/8pm central. Gwen Stefani will be performing with Akon so you might wanna check it out!

I started writing this American Idol post DAYS ago and there is still nothing to say. This weeks American Idol was kind of lame. Not only was it music from the 60\’s…it was British music from the 60\’s. I hope they\’re saving the best for last…OR something. Everyone was alright, I guess. I loved. Loved. Loved Jordin. She was great. I don\’t remember any other performances. Haley did pretty good. It\’s an improvement from all the other weeks, that\’s for sure. Sanjaya still sucked but not as much…and Stephanie got booted. Stephanie wasn\’t great, but no one was really great. I don\’t think she deserved to be booted. I still don\’t understand why Sanjaya is standing there. It\’s a mystery to me. Hopefully tomorrow\’s Idol will be great with Jennifer Lopez on there and all. You know, everyone loves Jennifer even if you can\’t stand her she\’s nice to look at.

Bad Day Part I

America says goodbye to Branden. Yes, he messed up his words but he was still better than Haley and Sanjaya. Hopefully one of them will go home next week. They haven’t had a good night on idol to this date. I’m surprised they are still there. I’m surprised by a lot of things. But Branden being dismissed was expected. Forgetting your words is boo-boo #1. Don’t expect to be back unless you had a strong performance. Hopefully next week will be better because frankly Diana Ross sucks.

Did you see her performance? She had no business coaching anyone. It was hilarious to me. She even asked us to sing along. Why? I’ve never heard of that song. I only know she has a new album out because they said so yesterday on Idol. Blah. They should have made those rumors happen and had MJ on the show. At least we could sing along and have fun. Guess not.
