My computer has been driving me crazy lately. It has been acting slow and recently it was exposed to some sort of virus. Thankfully the virus seems to be gone but right now it’s still acting slow. It’s taking forever for me to go through my browser tabs. It’s also taking forever for the sites to load. I’m used to a fast paced computer so using something that is going this slow is getting on my nerves. I can’t wait until I am able to afford a new laptop. I’d like to be able to replace my laptop every two years. That would be awesome!

People tend to do things themselves because it is cheaper then hiring an outside source because they not only charge you for the parts, they also charge you for installation, labor and service fees. That could very well add up to a pretty penny. If you are thinking about wiring your home for entertainment purposes then you may need to invest in some patch panels. They tend to be perfect for small office or home networks, and best of all you don’t have to pay anyone to come out and install it for you!

Golf seems like a sport that I’d be interested in. I seem to be accident prone and contact sports aren’t the best for me. I always walk away with some injury. I’ve been looking at bowling balls because I want that to become a hobby. I’m also looking into Callaway irons as a possible golf club choice Bowling and golf seem like two things to keep me active without getting hurt.

Some associates that are disbursed throughout the midwest decided to have a get together. Oddly enough the best location was in Detroit. Some people live in Ohio, others in Chicago so that seemed like the best place to have it since it was a last minute thing. That way they can drive and don’t have to make flight arrangements. I’ve been looking around for cheap hotels for them because who wants to spend all their money on a weekend get together? Finding the right place wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be.

I’ve been trying to get into my bookworm mode. I love to read but lately I haven’t felt like doing anything. I figure this is the best time to fall in love with reading again. I’ve been looking for some great books online. I’ve been looking at Amazon books. I figure that’s a great start, and searching online puts the world at my fingertips. I already ordered a few books and I can’t wait to get them!

I am so excited that I am getting the opportunity to review cellular routers provided by Powerful Signal. Everyone knows by now that I have a Blackberry and I’ve been wanting to get a router so I can use my phone as a wireless router when I was away from home. I’m an internet junky so when I don’t have access to the internet I feel so lost. It’s sad but true! With this AirCard booster kit I’ll get the maximum use out of my cell phone. Once I start using this router I’ll be all over town with my laptop. In the park, at the mall, at the pool…EVERYWHERE! The internet will truly be at my fingertips. Once I get everything settled I’ll be making a video about my mobile router so be sure to look out for that!

I want to take time out to visit New York City before the summer is out. I’d love to see Rent on Broadway. Everyone who knows me knows that I love that musical. I sit around just singing the songs in my free time or watching the movie as much as possible. I also love Tamyra Gray so I’d love to see her play Mimi. I want to get a New York City travel guide so I can find other cool things to do after the show is over!

I’m always looking into planning a getaway. Sometimes it’s nice to go to a place where you don’t know anyone in the area. For me Missouri is a great location. I don’t have any family or friends in the area so I wont feel bad by not spending my vacation time visiting them. In Branson I can go to the Silver Dollar City Theme Park. I love theme parks. It’s something about riding a roller coaster that gives me a rush.

The vacation packages are really affordable! Most of the packages are under $500 and it gets you up to a 4 day/3 night stay at a hotel plus tickets to some attractions like Grand Country Jubilee, Silver Dollar City, and Magnificent Seven with Dinner.

The area is absolutely beautiful and you can choose to shop while on vacation or visit some of their shows. They have a long list of things for you to do so you will never get bored. I hope I’m able to plan a trip to Branson soon!

Tonight Mariah Carey was on American Idol and if you know me you know how excited I was. I got little reminders from people of my past as well as people of the present. It’s so cool when people see Mariah and think of me. I spoke with a friend and he was telling me about how when him and his gf first heard Touch My Body they both laughed and tried to mock my “Mariah scream”. It was kinda funny but at the same time LOL. People think I’m crazy but I think I only know one other person who understands. Putting Idol and Mariah together has been something I’ve talked about over and over again since season 1 of American Idol. “Wouldn’t it be great if someone would sing Mariah songs?” “Wouldn’t it be great if they did a Mariah theme?” “Wouldn’t it be great if Mariah was a mentor?”. Yes, I took the wouldn’t it be greats up in stages. They didn’t have mentors when the show first started, and now they do. I’m happy because I finally got the question I ask every year multiple times a year answered! MARIAH DID IDOL! I couldn’t believe it when I heard that she was going to be on Idol this year. I’m still in shock.

Now for the bad news…this season sucks! So it wasn’t as interesting as it would have been if she did Idol last year but nonetheless Mariah Carey was on Idol and I tried to enjoy it for what it was worth. The boys did an excellent job. Maybe it’s because they’re boys so you can’t really compare a boys voice to a girls voice but I dunno…

Tomorrow Mariah will be performing Bye Bye and hopefully she does a great job. I love you Mariah!

So what’s been going on? I’ve been keeping up with Idol. Watching it every week. Watching the results shows and all that good stuff. I feel like Idol fell flat on its face this year. Usually there’s something that pulls me in but now I’m only watching it because it’s Idol. There’s not any one person that I’m in love with…and the competition is pretty much in full gear.

This week will be the Idol Gives Back special. I know last year by the time Idol Gives Back rolled around I had my favs. Heck, I had my favs during the audition phase and she ended up winning the whole competition! No one pops for me this year. I’m still waiting for something to happen and hopefully it will. I think the only reason Idol is getting great ratings is because of it’s track record. Everyone expects Idol to be great but this year it’s just not doing anything for me…
