Protect Yourself

Working at a financial institution I see all types of people. Sometimes I get annoyed because they try to do everything to keep me from seeing their acct number. I’m just sitting there like I see your account number, your drivers license number, your SSN, your address, your balance…EVERYTHING! You are worried about me but you give your account number out on a daily basis. Every time you write a check someone has your account number. I understand why they are worried but it seems like they worry about the wrong things at the wrong times. I know that identity theft protection is very important but people need to be educated on it so they can go about their daily lives without freaking out about every little thing.
