What Gift To Give?

I’ve never received jewelry from a guy so I don’t know when it’s the right time to give something. I just know that guys shouldn’t go around flashing rings within the first month because we could get the wrong idea. I know if I found a ring box and I was with someone for a month or two I would think either they are getting ready to propose to me, get freaked out and start avoiding them…they are about to propose to someone else and start avoiding them…or they are married and giving a gift to their wife which in turn I’ll never return another call of theirs…again…ever…in life. My brain starts working fast and I try to place myself in every situation to figure out how I should react. In this case it seems like my reaction would be to flee no matter who the ring was meant for. This is why I think tips for guys when they are giving out jewelry such as a necklace or ring is important. Something that would be meaningful to me would be something like a Peridot necklace. I was born in August and my birthstone is Peridot so it has some meaning. My favorite color is purple but birthstones never change so it will be something that will last an eternity.
