You know what was on the top of my list a few months ago? An HDTV. I knew Black Friday was around the corner and I could probably find a nice size TV for a good price. Unfortunately it didn’t work out that way so I don’t have that extra money to spend. If I did I know what I would be getting. A television, a dog and some decorations for my apartment. I’m still waiting to get everything set up. Hopefully soon I will be able to do that.

One thing I love about the holidays is the time spent with family. There are only a few days in the year that everyone has off and we can all be together and one of those days is Thanksgiving. I’m happy that I was able to spend this Thanksgiving with my family, and I hope you were able to do the same. I don’t have many family members in this state. In fact, they live in the same house so it wasn’t anything different except the extra food. I’m going back to work tomorrow and it will be madness. I work at the mall so there will be madness. JCPenny, Sears and Macy’s…I don’t see how things could possibly be sane. Plus it’s the only mall in a 20-30 mile radius

I feel like I’ve gained so much weight in the last few months. I haven’t been cooking as much as I would like to so I’ve been eating a lot of microwavable dinners as well as cookies. Pre-made cookie dough is the devil. I skip meals by eating cookies. I need to get back on track before I gain even more weight. I’m thinking about taking some diet pills because what I’m doing right now isn’t working. I have these smoothie drinks that I love, and they actually help, but they are expensive. I don’t eat them everyday because I don’t want to run out of it. If I do, I wont be able to replace it so I drink them as a treat. I need something that I can do daily because that will work best for me.

A new semester is right around the corner. I have to register for classes and as always I’m having problems. Isn’t that a shame? I contacted my school on Wednesday and I’m still waiting for them to get back to me. I’m trying to decide if I’m actually going to go up there and sit in the office and try to get help. I’m really being lazy today so I don’t know if I’m going to do that. This is the second Monday that I’ve had off since working at my new job and that’s bad news. I don’t miss work on Mondays so after work I go straight to class. When I’m off on a Monday I just want to stay in bed. This is also my only off day until Friday. I’ve been pretty good this semester. If I miss today this will be my 2nd absence. What to do, what to do? If I wasn’t so beat I would just go…

It’s time for my vacation. I’m always talking about wanting to go somewhere far away. I just need to get out of Michigan, to be honest. I want to be able to relax and just stay in bed all day if I want to. I haven’t been able to have a vacation like that yet. I deserve one. I’ve been working and going to school nonstop all my life. I need a break! I was looking at a las vegas hotel and that seems like something I could be into. The weather in Las Vegas is pretty nice, they have live shows, casinos, bars and I haven’t been there before. I imagine flights to Vegas are pretty cheap as well. I’ll have to look into this more. I really want to go somewhere next year. Hopefully I can save up enough money!

When I first moved into my apartment I had to do a lot of searching to find a Cat5e patch cable. I wanted to have cable in my bedroom and I refused to pay for a technician to install something that I could do myself. I’m glad that I was able to find the cable that I was looking for online. It saved me a ton of money and now I can watch television in my room right before I go to sleep. It’s such a luxury!

There are some true golfers out there. I sometimes watch golf tournaments on television but my attention span is too short for the entire 18 holes. Maybe it will be different if I actually played but I figure if I can’t even watch it on television how can I make it a hobby? But for all of you true golfers I’m sure you probably have a cool set of Callaway irons and if not then you probably are looking for some. I don’t blame you. I want a pair myself so I can add something else to my home to dust off.

It’s that time of year. It’s snowing like crazy! I’m not prepared for this. I need to get an oil change, anti-freeze fillup, scrappers for my car and everything. I stopped last night to get that stuff but I had to use the bathroom so bad. You don’t want to know how that ended. lol. So basically I have to go out today to do the same thing. It sucks because I really wanted to stay in today. I could always go tomorrow but I work and I figure once I get out my car will be covered with snow. At least when I’m at home I have covered parking. I need to buy a scarf and some gloves but the ones they sell at the stores seem to be cheap. I mean, the ones I got 2 for $1 are thicker than the ones that cost $10. Get out of here! So yeah, I’m wearing the ones from last year. Oh well.

It seems like most of us start looking into life insurance once we get sick. Do you know that it’s hard to get life insurance once you are sick? That’s just like trying to buy a protection plan for your ipod or laptop once it’s already broken. Or putting insurance on your car after you had an accident. Those accidents make it harder and more expensive to get insurance. That’s why you should get insurance before anything happens. It’s good to have a protection plan on your life for you and your family. The good thing about life insurance is you have so many options such as term life insurance so you can decide what type of coverage you need and how much you can afford to pay a month. Life insurance doesn’t have to be expensive and you don’t have to think about death. Just think of it as a protection plan. You’re worth more than your car and your ipod so treat yourself!

Comfortable shoes are a must, especially if you have a busy lifestyle. I work a lot and my job requires me to stand on my feet all day long. Believe me, it definitely has done some wear and tear on my feet. I now have foot pains and back pains. I wouldn’t have gone through this if I had better shoes. You have to know what kind of feet you have and that is how you find your comfort. I need arch support and shoes with a thick sole. Compared to other shoes out there the shoes I wear to work are decent. I really think the pain started when I started wearing shoes with no soles. I’ve been looking at Asgi shoes and they look very comfortable. They even give you free shipping on orders over $60 and no sale tax. That’s a bargain!
