Dream Shopping
Posted on October 21st, 2008 @ 7:12 pm

I want to go computer shopping. Sometimes I go to different websites and build my dream computer and then look at the price. It’s about $1,000 too much. I just close the screen and go back to doing something else. I do this too often, unfortunately. If I could afford my dream computer it would have the best everything. I’m one of those people who believe in buying it right the first time and not having to go back and have it repaired.

It seems to me that usually when you save your money here and there you end up having to go back and get something fixed and in the end you end up spending more for less. Why is it like that? I’m not sure, but when I can afford my dream computer I’m also going to go shopping for computer desks. I haven’t had a desktop since I left home so this will certainly be an adventure!

Show Me The World!
Posted on October 21st, 2008 @ 7:05 pm

I can show you the world! Shining, shimmering, splendid! I often sing that tune and wish I had a magic carpet to ride on. Wouldn’t that be cool? You wouldn’t have to worry about gas or mileage. Just get on the old rug and go as far as you like.

Of course that’s not reality. But if I could go riding around I would love to explore as much of the world as I could with a couple of rc helicopters. I haven’t been in a helicopter so that would be a first, but it would be cool. I also want to jump out of a plane. Not to kill myself, but for recreation. You know, with a parachute. Oh, did I mention that I was afraid of heights? I’m not sure when I plan on doing this, but it seems cool so who knows, maybe I’ll give it a go!

Two Pair!
Posted on October 21st, 2008 @ 7:01 pm

I purchased two pair of eyeglasses today. I was happy about the purchase because I’ve had the pair of glasses I’m currently wearing for 3 years. That’s a long time! I got an eye exam and 2 pair of plastic lenses. Hopefully everything works out. I didn’t intend to spend as much as I did, but oh well. It’s less than 2 pair of glasses would cost anywhere else so I’m happy with it. I guess I just didn’t pick the right time to decide to get some glasses. I really don’t have money to go around spending like crazy. That actually took all I had in my account. I’m getting tired of it though. I work all the time and I can’t get myself anything. I can’t even turn on heat in my apartment because I’m afraid of a high bill. The world we live in…

Where Did It Come From?
Posted on October 21st, 2008 @ 6:56 pm

I’m going to be honest…I gained quite a bit in the last few months. The last time I went to the doctor I was up 10lbs. I don’t think my eating habits really changed because I don’t eat much to begin with. I’ve been under a lot of stress lately so I guess that’s why. I also haven’t been able to afford the freshest of foods. I’ve been buying microwavable dinners because they are cheaper and they don’t go bad. I know that isn’t the healthiest way to eat, but at least I’m eating.

I know when things start going my way I’m going to be looking to shed at least 100lbs. I know, that’s a lot but you can do anything you set your mind to. Right? Right. I may even buy Phentermine to help me reach my goal. I’ve never tried a weight loss drug and that’s probably why I weigh as much as I do. Hopefully this will help me reach my goal so I can start living a healthier lifestyle.

Who Can Say No To Free?
Posted on October 21st, 2008 @ 6:49 pm

I love free stuff! I probably love it a little too much, but how can you turn down something that’s free? I think it also helps promote your business.

I go to the University of Michigan so every year we have a festifall which is basically a fall festival where all the businesses and organizations get together and hand out free stuff! Seriously. Just walk through campus and you’ll get some great free stuff. I’m talking about folders, mugs, water bottles, pens, backpacks, and more! Sometimes I like walking by and then making a u-turn if it’s something extra special.

When I get home I look at all the stuff that I collected throughout the day, check out the websites of the different companies and sometimes even use their services! I know most people think giving out promotional items is just a waste of money but you have to think big! Handing out 1,000 promotional pens will probably get you more than one client and I’m sure they will spend more than you did on all the pens you had made. So think big! Don’t be afraid to hand out free things, people like me love getting them and using them. And hey, more than likely you’ll gain a new clientele base.
