Starts tomorrow, Tuesday, January 15th!!! I’m so stoked! You just don’t know. I’ve been counting down and everything. It sorta just crept up on me. So this is very good news. The best news I had all day. So everyone turn to your local Fox station (for those of you in Detroit it’s channel 2!) and watch the premier of American Idol at 8/7c. Well, that is all. I’ll be back with an update of everything that happened and how this season started off, which will probably be with a bunch of bad singing and LOLs.

I’m really considering getting some glasses when I get some extra cash. I’ve had the pair of glasses I’m wearing now for over 3 years! I’m ready to get something new and I think I’ll my recent Great Discovery: www.ZenniOptical.com! They’re glasses are stylish and cheap. I finally found something that I can afford and wouldn’t mind wearing. I like the pair pictured below:

I’m preparing some mini-turkey wraps. I have to let them sit in the refrigerator for a while so they can get cold. I’m trying to learn how to cook different party favor foods. I think it’s just something that I should have under my belt. I’ve always wanted to cater. I don’t want it as a day job, I just want it as a seasonal gig. You know, do a wedding or party once every 3 months or something. Nothing that’s too overwhelming. I really hope to learn how to make a wedding cake. I’m going to wait to start experimenting when I have more money and more supplies and somewhere to take the cake after it’s made. I’ll probably start trying to make one layer wedding cakes in the spring. I really enjoy cooking but I have to be in the “mood” to do it. I’m in the mood quite often. It puts me in a happy place. I might post pics of the turkey wraps later on if I remember before I eat them all up. After all is said and done I hope to have at least 30 mini-wraps.

I feel like the older I get the more I value budgeting and planning. Right now I’m living on a fixed income and I can’t afford to do much because I have to save all of the money that I have to pay bills and other things of that sort. I also can’t waste afford to waste any time so I make a schedule so I can use my time wisely.

I don’t know if you’ve noticed…well, lets be real, if you haven’t noticed that means this is your first time visiting my site. I have a new Layout up! I like it for the most part. There might be some possible changes. I don’t know if it’s dark enough for me. But I think it’s cute and it fits this site. I loved that butterfly theme but it definitely was time to part ways. I mean, when you get tired of going to your site then there’s a problem. I think it looks so pretty now. I might try to change the theme a little more often so it’s not so boring.

It was nice actually seeing the things that are often talked about. I don’t think Top Model is a scam because she participated in the competition just like everyone else. Tyra gave this girl a chance because she believed in her and I think she deserved to win. People will always find a way to complain. I’m sure if you were in Saleisha’s position…trying to make it…and someone like Tyra gave you the opportunity you wouldn’t think “it’s wrong” or blah blah. So yeah, she put in the time so let her enjoy her crown.
