Every time I go to the mall I have to pass the jewelry store. It makes me feel sad. Here I am 21 years old and I’ve never received a ring from a significant other. Maybe I’m too young to be thinking about diamond rings but it sure would be nice to have one. I guess not having one leaves me with something to look forward to.

When you’re sick it’s amazing what type of things come to your mind. I know I often think about getting term life insurance quotes because if anything were to happen to me I want to make sure my family doesn’t have to pay for my funeral expenses out of their pocket. I know it’s a morbid thought, but it’s the truth.

I was trying to think of something to blog about and I said hey, why not Jamie Lynn. I can’t go anywhere on the net without reading about her. I really do think the situation is sad. The entire Spears situation. I don’t want to be seen as one who is just going to blame the parent for poor parenting. That’s obvious. Her mom mad a comment about her never breaking her curfew but at the same time she never said what time her curfew was. It could have been 5am for all we know. I think these Hollywood moms (not all of them, of course) are so busy being best friends with their children that they can no longer lead them. I was 16 once, and yes, I was thinking about sex. I didn’t have sex because I was afraid of the consequences that I would have to face. So I don’t think it’s right to point a finger at Jamie Lynn and say shame on you. There are so many 16 year olds out here doing any and everything that they please. I think it’s because parents aren’t trying to be parents anymore. And even if you are a good parent that isn’t enough to stop your child from experimenting. This could have been her first time. I commend her for keeping the child but I feel like this is a publicity stunt to keep the Spears family in the public eye. I wouldn’t be surprised if this whole thing was set up. She’s 3 months pregnant. She isn’t showing. Why come out to the world like that? Look at Christina Aguilera and Jennifer Lopez. They both are married and pregnant. I’m sure the only reason this issue is a big deal is because this girl is Britney Spears little sister. Being pregnant is a new fashion statement. I have more to say but this could go on forever. I think that family needs prayer.

FRIGHTFUL! But the fire is so delightful. Yes, it is true. Michigan was hit with a blizzard and I wasn’t expecting it at all. I’ve noticed that I’ve been annoyed with snow this year and usually that isn’t the case. It’s just been an extra hassle. On top of that I believe that the Michigan city workers went on strike before because it took them forever to clear the streets! There’s still so much snow outside. When I was going to school on my last day a deer was in the middle of the path. I had to walk around in over 16 inches of snow! WTF! I wasn’t happy about that at all. The snow came up to my knees. Literally. It’s hard to park in the snow and the snow just seems to be making my life a living hell.

I’m sure you all know about the new Johnny Depp moving coming out. It’s called Sweeney Todd. It’s Tim Burton’s 2007 film adaptation of the Stephen Sondheim musical. When I first received my Entertainment Weekly in the mail and it had a picture of Johnny Depp in heavy make-up the first thing I thought was Tim Burton so I wasn’t surprised when I found out that he was the director. I’ve been spending a lot of time at the confessional over at buzznet. They let you call in and make a confession. I think it’s pretty cool. In my confession I talked about how I went into my store the other night and took a case of drinks. I’m not sure if I’d call it breaking and entering since I still have the key but it was supposed to be turned in 15 days ago so I’m really not sure what to call it. All I know is I have about 12 Sierra Mists and 12 Aquafinas in the trunk of my car. If you have something that you want to confess why not confess to the demon barber? …on this site. I really like this layout but it\’s been up for a long time. It feels like it\’s been a year since I put it up. That could be true, or false. I don\’t really know. I just know I want to get some kind of direction with this site. My other two sites I\’m content with. This one…not so much. Some things I\’ve been thinking about doing is adding recipes to this blog. I\’m not sure about that because I\’m lazy when it comes to uploading pics and sometimes my recipes aren\’t the greatest because I might miss a few steps here and there when describing it to others…

American Idol will be on in a month. I\’m sure that will give me a little focus, for a little while, at least.

So I was thinking I really need to catch up on my Netflix. I pay for that plan and I don’t even watch 3 movies a month. This is crazy. I used to work at a video store. I’m able to pop out movies like crazy. I guess I’ve been busy with other things. Before last month I was working full-time as well as going to school full-time. Now that my job has ended I’m just going to school so I would think that I would have more time to watch movies. I guess now. I’m going to watch some over Christmas break. After that I might put my plan on hold for 3 months since I’ll be in school and I probably wont have any time to watch movies anyway. Then I’ll start it back up in April so I can have movies all throughout the summer. I’m so behind! That’s one thing that I miss about my job. I don’t watch as many movies and I don’t know what’s out or anything. Hell, to be honest I don’t even need Netflix. I have a sick DVD collection. I’m pretty proud about it…
