Packet 8 VoIPOctober 2nd, 2007 @ 1:04 am
My father has his own small business and he is always switching phone companies trying to find the best deals for a small business phone line. Since we have so many phone lines it can get pricey when you go with the leading phone companies because they usually specialize in home phones where no more than two lines are needed. Since the business runs off of 5 phones it gets a bit pricey.
Packet 8 is an internet phone service that is very affordable. VoIP is what’s “in” because it’s affordable, high quality and you can call all over the nation for one low price.
I was browsing though their complete business phone system and they have so many options and it works with any high speed internet connection so you don’t have to worry about ending your internet contract in order to sign up with them. I would definitely sign up for Virtual Attendant and Overhead Paging. I like the idea of being able to page everyone in the office at the same time as well as all the features that come with the virtual attendant.
The best thing about VoIP is most of the features that you would pay for through a regular phone company you don’t have to through a VoIP plan because it’s included. You can call as many people you want since you have unlimited calling. You can call anyone in the US since long distance is free.
If you are looking for a phone for your business definitely check out Packet 8. They have so many plans and options I’m sure you’ll be able to find something that will fit you needs.
