If I know anything I know a lot about teen stress and depression. That’s the story of my life. I’ve tried to learn many different techniques to improving teen self esteem . I had this problem when I was a teen. It was mostly due to family issues and whatnot. It’s hard to have high self esteem when the people you love are always putting you down. This is when you have to learn how to do things on your own. Find things that you are good at and love doing. Get involved in different groups. Be creative. This helped me a great deal and I’m sure it will help you as well.

Desperate Housewives season 3 comes to DVD on September 4th! I’m excited about this. We’ll get the discs at work tomorrow and I’m going to be sure to get them first thing. I love Desperate Housewives but I’m not good at keeping up with anything on TV besides American Idol. I know I’ve seen a lot of the episodes of the 3rd season but I also missed a lot. This is not a TV show that you can just catch up on and be okay, unfortunately. So with the DVD coming out I’ll be able to get my fix as well as see all the bonus features. I’m so excited!

The holiday season is right around the corner. Why not get a head start on how you want to bring in the new year. If you’re the type of person who likes to send out greeting cards then you should start looking at the designs they have to offer this year. They even have some nice corporate Christmas cards. I know I’m going to start looking for my Christmas cards and get them out early. When Christmas season rolls around I’m so busy with cooking, decorating and buying Christmas gifts that I forget all about the cards. Hopefully this year it wont be that way.

You know how you can fine out something about a person and be in total awe. That’s the way I’m feeling right now. A schoolmate of mine was dared to post a youtube video of her singing and I am blown away. Her voice is really good and she’s not one who goes around singing all the time. I knew she could sing because she’s in a singing group here but I didn’t know she was THAT good. I’m still sitting here like wow…I wish she had a CD or something. Seriously. Wow. I’m SO going to download this song RIGHT now.

No…Jordin doesn’t show us her tattoo. Jordin probably doesn’t even have a tattoo but she does have a brand new single that is being released on Friday entitled “Tattoo”. I am so excited about this. The second I read it I was going everywhere to make sure this was true, and yes, it’s true indeed. Jordin says that she fell in love with the song as soon as she heard the chorus and she knew that she had to sing this song. Hopefully we will feel the same way. I love Jordin. I don’t want to see her fail. This is why I will be on AOL’s PopEater all day until they post her song. I think you all should do the same. Also, Tattoo, her first official single, will hit the radio waves on Monday. Her album is expected to be released on November 20, 2007. Just in time for Christmas. Go Jordin…GO!

The Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk is an annual walk-a-thon held across the nation to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer care, support and research. The Memory Walk is definitely making a difference. Since 1989 Memory Walk has raised more than 225 million dollars. This shows you that we make a difference. I guarentee you that much money couldn’t have been raised if passionate people didn’t sign up to help the cause. If you are interested in volunteering for the Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk then this is the time to sign up as a participant or Team Captain. Team Captains are needed and it is best that you sign up early so that you can make sure you have enough time to recruit a team and raise money to support the cause.

Fighting Alzheimer’s is important to me because I believe that it’s a curable disease and everyone deserves a chance to live life to it’s fullest. I know many people who are still alive with Alzheimer’s but they don’t recognize their children or any of their family members. Imagine how it would feel if your own mother didn’t remember you. This is why we must do all we can to help. If you have time to do so I think you should become a Team Captain. You will make friends along the way as well as help out many because you donated your time and money to a good cause.

Christina Aguilera is pregnant! I’m so excited. I feel as if she’s my best friend or something. I really hope her child gets his/her looks from their mother otherwise it might look like an elf or something. The other day I saw some pics of her baby bump. I’ve been in denial just because I didn’t want to be happy for her and come to find out she’s not pregnant at all. That would be a bummer. It’s a double edged sword. I feel like I may never have a chance with her now that her and Jordy are starting a family, but then again…Britney up and left after she popped out her kids. So I guess in time we will see.

This whole summer I’ve been planning on getting my sites in order. I have no clue as to what I’m going to do and the summer is almost over. I like this site but I feel like it has no direction, and I guess that’s cool. I like posting little things about the movies that are coming out and what’s on the up and up on celebrities, although I don’t really post that much celebrity gossip. I guess I can start doing that more. When I post here I feel like I’m trying to stretch to put up some good information. On my other site it’s simple because I just talk about whatever and I always have something going on in my personal life. Hopefully before school starts I will have my other site up. I will really have to push to get that done since school starts on September 4th. I don’t know if I’m excited about that. I guess it’s bittersweet.
