Tonight is the Finale of American Idol. I was trying to hold off on blogging about last week’s elimination for the longest. As you know the amazing Melinda Doolittle is no longer on the show. She deserved to be in the finale more than anyone, and she’s gone. I was sure that Jordin or Blake were going to be booted. I wanted the title to go to either Melinda or Jordin and I couldn’t choose because I loved them both so much. But the page flipped. I was shocked. My mouth dropped to the floor. I’m still in shock. I don’t know what the show is going to be like tonight. I’m sure it’s still going to great because I like both Jordin and Blake. But it’s Melinda-less. It still seems surreal.

Well, tonight is the finale. The American Idol of 2007 will be crowned tomorrow night. There will be a 2-hour season finale with all kind of celebrities there. Remember last year when Prince kinda sorta just showed up? I wonder what the surprise is gonna be this year. It can’t be Elvis because he already made his appearance this year.
