Credit Cards

Most of us have them and the rest want them. These are those little plastic things that you use to buy things such as clothes, toys, electronics. Yes, I’m talking about credit cards. I have a few credit cards to my name. I don’t know what I would do without some of them, and the others I wish I would have never signed up. I’m a good credit card holder. I try my best to pay all my bills on time, even when I’m short on cash.

I think we as a whole do leave ourselves open to credit card fraud. Most of the times we don’t sign the back of our cards and if someone steals them they can easily sign it and get away with shopping. Some of us sign the back of our cards without realizing that most cashiers wont ask for ID if it’s signed. What everyone needs to start doing is putting “ask for ID” or something of that nature on the back of their cards in order to protect themselves. I’m a cashier and sometimes people will jump down my throat when I ask for ID. That same person will catch a fit if someone went on a $5000 shopping spree with their cards. The first thing they will say is “they didn’t ask for ID” and blame the store for the incident. The store may be partially at fault, but I know when people treat me like that I want to stop asking for ID…so….

If you are already a credit card holder with a bit of a balance and you feel like you’re never going to get out of debt then consider 0% balance transfers. Balance transfers work wonders for some people.
