America says goodbye to Branden. Yes, he messed up his words but he was still better than Haley and Sanjaya. Hopefully one of them will go home next week. They haven’t had a good night on idol to this date. I’m surprised they are still there. I’m surprised by a lot of things. But Branden being dismissed was expected. Forgetting your words is boo-boo #1. Don’t expect to be back unless you had a strong performance. Hopefully next week will be better because frankly Diana Ross sucks.

Did you see her performance? She had no business coaching anyone. It was hilarious to me. She even asked us to sing along. Why? I’ve never heard of that song. I only know she has a new album out because they said so yesterday on Idol. Blah. They should have made those rumors happen and had MJ on the show. At least we could sing along and have fun. Guess not.

Last nights Idol was terrible. All of the songs were slow and boring. All of the songs sucked. That’s what happens when you bring Diana Ross on the set. I was going to fall asleep. Seriously. My favorites are still Jordin, Melinda, LaKisha and Stephanie.

Branden is probably gone. Haley needs to go to. And Sanjaya. Man. So many bad people this year.

I’m excited because now that American Idol is on Tuesdays at 8pm and Wednesdays at 9 I can check out America’s Next Top Model which airs Wednesdays at 8pm. Isn’t that great! Well, it’s like this every year. The first few episodes you have to catch ANTM on Sundays, but after American Idol is finished with the semi-finals you can check it out on it’s regular time.

So I watched American Idol tonight and I must say that I’m highly disappointed in the results this year. People…this is a SINGING COMPETITION! Usually people don’t pick favorites until later on. Usually the beginning of the competition America is right for the most part. This season? Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. Not only did Sanjaya get to stay, but Haley did as well. I didn’t understand that. I still don’t understand that…

Sabrina, Sundance, Antonella and Jared got booted today. In my opinion Sabrina got robbed. She belongs in the competition. She has not had a bad week. She’s better than all the guys. She’s definitely a million times better than Haley and I prefer her over Gina as well. I don’t know how this happened. I don’t understand at all. Sundance and Jared also got robbed. I didn’t think Sundance was going to get booted. I wasn’t surprised by Jared…but I thought Sanjaya was going to get the boot…and he DIDN’T! I’m shocked. I waited a little while before I decided to blog because I wanted to let it sink in..and I’m still shocked.

That’s a nice top 12 for the most part. Minus Haley and Sanjaya. I really wish Sabrina was up there with them. I enjoyed all of her performances. Oh well. I still got my Jordin!

The girls BROUGHT it!

I feel like I’m on Bring It On, but seriously…they BROUGHT it! The guys should be scared starting next week because their crap will be mixed in with the girls and they will be voted off week, after week, after week. If they don’t step their game up that’s what’s going to happen.

Jordin stepped out and my eyes popped open. She’s so gorgeous. Beautiful. And she can sing! She’s so cute and sweet and everything. LOL! That’s not my favorite song, but she still rocked it. She’ll be there tomorrow smiling like the cutie she is.

Sabrina also did very well. She did an En Vogue song and it was great! She’s pretty also. She will also be there tomorrow in the Top 12 circle.

Antonella. Gone. GONE…GONE!!! IF that girl makes it to the Top 12 someones write to vote should be taken away. Those must be the same people that voted for Bush. That girl is terrible. Beyond terrible. If I can sing a song better than you and you are the one on TV then something is wrong. This is supposed to be America’s Finest SINGERS…not America’s Finest WHORES! UGH!

Haley? I don’t know what that was. It was weird. It’s like a song you listen to on the radio when you’re high. You know, the kind where birds start flying around and talking to you. She’ll be booted tomorrow.

Stephanie did well. I like Stephanie. At first I didn’t like her much because she seemed like a bitch, and who knows, maybe she is. She’s growing on me. She’s always been a good singer to me, so of course that didn’t change. I’m just starting to like her more as a person. I hope she makes it on. I’m sure she will.

Gina sung Evanesence. I thought it was a good try. This is a song I’m familiar with because my sister as well as my company makes me listen to it every chance they get. It’s not a bad song. I like it. I prefer the original. She sung Call Me When I’m Sober from the Open Door Album. See, my little sister schools me. Gina did well overall…and it does seem more of her element…

LaKisha sung Whitney and did great. She’s one of the few that can get away with singing familiar songs by big voices without Randy jumping down her throat.

Melinda. Melinda. Melinda. I LOVE MELINDA! Her performance was HOT! I’m not familiar with that song, but I thought it was great. I was scared for a minute because it’s one of those songs with a lot of words but she SUNG it. I’ve watched the performance 5 times since the show went off in about 10 minutes, lol. GO MELINDA!

It was a great show tonight compared to what I put myself through last night and I’m glad I didn’t give up on Idol so soon.

Well, the guys sucked. Therefore they all should be booted. I’m just kidding. Partially.

Anywho, here’s what I think about the guys:

They are nothing compared to the girls. The girls are in a totally different league. After wasting an hour last night watching the guys I was really disappointed. I’ve been an Idol Junkie for the past 6 years and I’ve never experienced something that made me want to stop watching the show. That’s how bad it was.

I’m still cheering Blake on. He did a good job. I’ve never heard the song before and it was definitely a different experience, but still good. Jared sung Stevie and he did pretty good. I remember Chris being good although I don’t remember what he sung. Phil was okay. Not as good as he usually is. He had some weird tone things going on at the beginning and that turned me off. The middle was definitely better than the beginning. Chris Sligh was very good. Brandon was okay. It wasn’t great, but it was okay. Sundance wasn’t bad but I really didn’t like it.

Sanjaya? Why is this kid still on the show. And why the fuck did he do the hula? I had to drop my mouth. No man would go on TV doing the hula. I mean, really. That’s my first time ever seeing a man do that. Wow. But besides that…he was terrible. He’s definitely gone tomorrow.

Who else might go? Maybe Brandon. I’m not sure. The guys aren’t that great. I can’t even pick my top 6 because they’re not that good….

We’ll see what happens tomorrow.

I’m not sure what direction I want this blog to go in. Right now American Idol seems to be the focus of the blog, and I sometimes include Blogvertise Ads just so I don’t over do it on my other site…but I’m still not sure what I want to do with this site. I started out writing about different things. It wasn’t a daily blog type thing. It was more of my opinions and reactions to different things. I guess that’s a good way to put it. Now I’m stuck because I update more now then I did back then. I guess I’ll go with the flow until I get any good ideas.

One of the things I’d like to do in my lifetime is travel around the world. Explore new things and experience new cultures. That isn’t the easiest thing to do unless you are rich. Traveling is expensive. Before you decide to travel you have to make sure you have enough money for your flight, transportation when you get there, your living expenses…and most importantly…you must have money for food! That’s one of the best things about traveling. Not only do you get to see historical sites but you get to eat food that is usually different from the meals you eat on a day-to-day basis.

I don’t think the show was that great last night. It was about the same as last week. I’m still feeling the same girls. Jordin disappointed me a little bit, but I know she’s a good singer. Maybe she was just caught up in the dedications and stuff. Antonella needs to GO! Haley can also leave. Or Alaina. Stephanie, LaKisha, Melinda and Sabrina all did well. I loooove Melinda. She sung My Funny Valentine and it was AMAZING! Even Simon said so, and you know how harsh he can be at times. But usually he is right. Not always, but for the most part.

The judges are crazy. I love them for that. They have me cracking up over here. It was also funny when Antonella mentioned Simon was wrong about Jennifer Hudson but look at her now. Hahahaaaa. Antonella can sing a little bit, I suppose because if she couldn’t she would have been booted before Hollywood week…but, um…she’s not that GREAT. Yea, she might be a star one day. A porn star….

Results are tonight. Hopefully America will get it right and VOTE her OFF!
