Why is the cost of living so darn expensive? If money is the root of all evil then why does it exist? I ask myself these questions often. It seems like the world would be a much better place if we didn’t need money to survive. If everyone was able to get what the wanted/needed when they wanted/needed it things would be so much easier. It seems like there would be less violence/theft. But since the rich get richer…we all know what happens to the poor. Why does anyone need all of that money? I know money is like water to Bill Gates and he’s a person who spreads the wealth…but what about all these other wealthy people? Do they just treat themselves everyday saving up their money for no apparent reason? We’re not going to be around forever so why do that? The individuals at the top of the pyramid don’t have to worry about the cost of living and the people at the bottom have to struggle to survive.

I think the world needs to develop a better system. People are starving because they can’t afford food. People are dying because they can’t afford to go to the hospital. Something is definitely wrong with this picture.
