Hey!!!September 6th, 2005 @ 11:48 pm
I’m blogging! Haha…I bet that was expected. Today was the first day of classes. An amazing first day if I might add. I loved loved loved it
I’m in the computer lab AGAIN since they still haven’t fixed my internet. At least I know it’s not just my room because several others are having problems in my dorm. The thing is mines has been out for about a week, and theirs comes on and off. UGH! I got my check today. A pretty good check for only 2 days of work. Oh, and I’m getting paid more than I thought. No one actually told me what I was getting paid, and I didn’t want to ask…so I decided to wait for the check. I must say that I am happy. Oh…and I’m also happy about books. I bought my Biology book for $30 off of ebay. It’s an older edition but basically the same stuff so I’m saving at least $100. I also bought my poetry book off of half.com and that was only $1.75 so I’m saving $50. Yep…that would make anyone happy. Now I have to buy my 2 English books which should be around $30 together if I play my cards right. Last semester I spent $500 on books…this semester I’m spending no more than $70. I refuse to waste that much money ever again! Being internetless is so inconvenient, but it does give me a reason to leave my room. Not that I would like to, but whatever. As you can see my blogs have been pretty short lately because this lab smells like mildew and I’m scared that fungus will start growing on my lungs if I stay to long. These keyboards are super stiff. Yesterday I used the Mac which was better but the mouse was messed up. I miss using my own stuff
I don’t know what’s up with my credit card bill. It looks like they waived the $1,000 bill and bumped me up to platinum status. How did that happen? I don’t know, but I’m glad and I’m not going to question it. All I know is I’m looking at the statement and it says I spent $52 when in all actuality I might only have $52 left…hmm. I hope they don’t catch on. I need to spend some time on the net and catch up rather than these brief 30 minute visits
Well I’m going to go now. Ta-ta…
