2009 has definitely been the year of new things. I guess when you lose some you win some. You may not see it at first but when everything falls in line you see that you had to go through some stuff to get where you are today. I’m moving in less than a month to a gorgeous apartment with a view of nature. I got a new car this year. I’m starting a new job next week. I have a lot to be thankful for. Sure when things are happening I wonder why me? But I guess it really does have to happen for you to appreciate the place you are in.

If you know me then you know how much I love the Sony Vaio. I’ve wanted one FOREVER! The laptop looks so sleek and it’s so fast. It’s built tough! I don’t have one because it’s too pricey for me. Everyone that I know who owns it gives it excellent reviews. I may purchase one in the future. If you haven’t heard of it then I suggest going to a store and playing with one. I’ve been trying to get back into reading lately. I recently read the entire Twilight series and I fell in love with it. I’ve been trying to find something just as good and I can’t! It’s frustrating. I get books hoping for the best and they just fall flat. I’m thinking about checking out Amazon books and hoping they can come up with some better selections for me.

I love recording songs with my siblings. As they grow older you do different things. Now when I come home we record songs for our album. I know it may sound silly but it’s really fun. I know I’ll have to buy computer memory soon because all the songs my brother has on his computer is definitely eating the memory up. He’s starting to delete songs after we record them to save up on space. I know he’ll be glad when he has more memory to work with.

My apartment is a mess. I’m moving in less than a month and nothing is packed yet. I’m trying to figure out how I’m going to get it all done. When I moved out my last apartment it seemed to take forever, and that was a shared apartment! Now everything in here belongs to me. I haven’t even felt like packing because I’m always at work and I just want to relax. I’m going to regret this, I know it. I just need an entire day off so I can get this stuff packed.

When living in an apartment not only do you have a key but so does maintenance. There are also a number of people living in your building so people could be keeping watch on if you are home or away. It’s even worse when you live in a home. If your car isn’t outside most likely you are gone. The other day someone mentioned being away on twitter and someone broke into his home! I haven’t really been online much so I haven’t had time to check on all the projects she has been working on like I usually do. I’m just glad that she is coming out with another CD. Her first CD was pretty good. I think it’s the type of CD that has to grow on you because when I first heard it I was like um….what is this? But after a while it was in constant rotation.
